Our vision is to be a message based label that allows staff, artists and all involved to be free to be who they were created to be and do what they were created to do, fulfilling their God given destiny, in hopes of perpetrating that same spirit onto all who become a part ‘Of the Gang’!

Our mission is to capture the heartbeat of God and what gives life, promoting hope, joy, peace, purpose, fulfillment, truth, integrity and destiny, and proclaim it to the outer ends of the earth.

Founded in 2006 by entrepreneur, author and world-class athlete, Penny McCoy, Penny’s Gang Records (PGR) is an innovative, multi-genre, faith-based independent record company with distribution through Fontana.

The PGR company mission is based on label owner Penny McCoy’s personal vision. “I am fulfilling my God-given destiny to use this record label as an opportunity to fuel each and every one of you with the hope of victory, freedom, healing and purpose leading to destiny.”

Devoted to message-based music, PGR embraces all inspirational genres, from Christian to Gospel – as well as all musical styles from Rock to Adult Contemporary, Pop and Rap.

Penny’s Gang Records has also formed a mainstream label called 44-4 Records. 44-4 Records is dedicating to signing world-class artists of all genres as well as offering artists on Penny’s Gang Records an alternative, secular musical outlet.

Penny McCoy, CEO

Penny was raised by her parents, Dave and Roma Mc Coy, and grew up in, and worked in her family business, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. She worked in all aspects from Restaurant Services to Custodial Services; from Race Department to Human Resources creating Training and Orientation Programs; often known as The Attorney for those that couldn’t get their voices heard or their needs met; from Marketing and Sales to Special Events Manager; from the Garage and Maintenance Crew to Ambassador of Skiing: from Lift Crew to Board of Directors; from Radio Operator to Administration.

Currently, Penny is the visionary/owner/C.E.O. of Penny’s Gang Records finding herself as any other person with moment-by-moment choices. She says she doesn’t have any earthly acclaim or credit to lend to her as the head of a music label, but one thing she does have is the understanding that she has an incredible team including Fontana / Universal Distribution, staff, and artists with a heart for the vision, and she is proud to say that with their integrity, knowledge, excellence, fortitude and humor bent on serving and aiding in the fulfilling of the vision, Penny’s Gang can’t lose no matter what. And she invites you to be a part of ‘The Gang’!

As a sixteen-year veteran music business administrator, Nancy has been employed by and consulted many major and independent record labels including Island Records, specializing in Label Administration, A&R Administration and Production.
